A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Title: Toasting The Evening
Preparing for the Skagit Valley tulip festival, where I'm the poster artist in 2016. This is not the poster image but it got me excited to paint tulips!
For the past year I've been painting flowers up so close that they envelope the viewer in their sensuality and rich color. Enlarged, they become almost abstractions from nature without seeing the outer shape or the environment around them.
This watercolor is painted on a full sheet of 140# Arches Cold Press paper. It has a white frame and a 4" archival mat and backing with plexiglass. A Certificate of Authenticity comes with the watercolor signed by Sandy Haight. It is ready to hang for your pleasure.
Image Size: 24" x 20"
Frame Size: 33" x 29"
Teaching watercolor has recharged my interest in painting subjects that I love.
I was honored to be the gold medal winning poster artist for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in 2016 with my watercolor painting of a tuli...
About Sandy Haight
Watercolor is my medium. I zoom in and compose from my photos to fill a picture plane with a compelling design that takes the viewer into an abstract and sensual world. I look for beautiful transitions of color or textures that could be expressed luminously with my many glazes of watercolor, or that might provide an opportunity for me to try new painting techniques. I paint the inner landscape of flowers calling these works Floralscapes. The shapes, designs and patterns inside flowers and plants are the subject that awakened my love of painting, giving me a chance to create images of stunning beauty while merging realism with an abstract sense of design. As my paintings get larger, and I face new technical challenges with watercolor,...
